There were no change in the pattern of exam and question were asked based on previous exam patterns. There were 150 questions for various sections including essay, Precis writing and comprehension.
This time exam was of average type and it is expected that cutoff would be little higher this time.
All such candidates who appeared for the written exam for CPF may share their expected marks here and we will try to aggregate the expected cutoff marks based on the sampling method.
We request all the candidates of CPF 2011 to share their expected marks so that we can calculate the expected cutoff and You can get more time for preparation of your next level of physical and medical test.

Arvind bhai main miss spell kar diya tha ooper thora..i mean 50% not 50 marks, but cut off is below 50% as per last year becoz mine were not more than 50% correct…..
Vibhor bhi after after deducting 1/3 for wrong wuestions i were getting approx 120, i did about 25-30 questions wrong, Be assured that cut off will not go beyond 100 marks in paper one, Many of the questions were very deep like that of transformer one,it is basically used to suply stable voltage to en user, and to minimise power loss, high tension wires with 11K voltage are used. Arvind bhai wo galti se type ho gaya..50 marks nahi i meant 50% marks…but cutoff 50% se neeche rahe i am sure for this…..
hii friends , system of cut off is not use in upsc. There is presentile system. If we obtained 35% in each subject and if our total is upper than 35% than we are safe for qulify. One retired major ask me this qury so thate i sare with all of u . I am not sure coment pleaj…..

Dear RAMJI can you please tell me that after you did 60-65 questions how much of your answers were wrong…
my condition too is still the same…..i am really afrais with people telling the cutoff of p1 to be as high as 120.
