Age Relaxation in SSC Exam Announced this year by government – There is good news for those preparing for Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Thousands of students will benefit from the increase in the age limit by SSC. Union Minister Jitendra Singh announced in Parliament that due to the Corona epidemic, there has been a delay in the recruitment of SSC (SSC Recruitment 2022). For whatever recruitment will be done this year, the date of January 1, 2022 will be fixed for the calculation of age in the recruitment examination of the candidates.
It is believed that approximately 50 thousand students will get benefited with the age relaxation.
After the announcement of the Union Minister, the students preparing for the examinations have got new energy. About 50 thousand students preparing for the examination are expected to benefit from this. Let us inform that due to Corona epidemic, the candidates were deprived of 2 years in filling the forms for many examinations across the country. Due to this the age limit of many youths was over for SSC exams. Keeping this in mind, the central government has taken a big decision.
However, if we talk about the age limit in general, then the age of the candidate should have been counted as on 1st August 2022 or 1st January 2023 as per the conduction of Tier-II exam. The Union Minister also said that it is not possible at all to change the maximum number of attempts and the upper age limit to be given to the candidates in the Civil Services Examination.

Giving information on this matter, Jitendra Singh said that no relaxation will be given in UPSC.
