National Institute of Design (NID): NID is internationally acclaimed as one of the finest educational and research institutions for Industrial, Communication, Textile and IT Integrated (Experiential) Design. It is a statutory institute under the DIPP, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It has been recognized as an ‘Institution of National Importance’ by the Act of Parliament, by virtue of the National Institute of Design Act 2014. It is also recognized by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization.

NID DAT Prelims-Drawing fundamentals , innovation in designs, theme development, exercise on imagination, graphics & pictogram, Principles of composition, design theory etc.
NID DAT Mains- Model making, material manipulation, audio-visual exercises , importance of body language, doodling, creative thinking and the likes
Question Paper Format for NID : NID Prelims : Duration of the exam- 3 hours and the total marks is 100.The total no. of questions are 26 with MCQ and subjective type
