Half of IndiGo Flights Delayed on Air India Hiring Day – The country’s aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), which has sought a clarification from IndiGo after 55% of its domestic flights got delayed on July 2. The reason for delay was a significant number of cabin crew members took sick leave, with sources in the industry saying they ostensibly went for an Air India recruitment drive.
