In state of Bihar, the bank branches will provide services to customers in lockdown as before i.e. 10 – 4 PM : Sushil Modi,
Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi said that all the branches of the bank functioning in the state will serve the customers in lockdown also as before. The decision to close bank branches two days a week was taken locally due to misunderstandings in some districts, with banks limiting the banking period from 10 to 02 PM across the state.
Modi said that the bank management has been told that all branches should continue their service from ten to four o’clock in the working day.
However, customers have been requested to visit the branches of the bank only in the event of extreme need. Use mobile, internet and online banking, digital medium and ATM as much as possible.
