Indo Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) invites Applications from Indian Citizens for filling up 10 (Ten) 06 DR 03 aBC & 01 SC posts of Assistant Commandant (Engineer) (Group-‘A’ Non ministerial Combatised Post) in Pay Band- 3 Rs.l5,600-39, 100/- plus grade pay Rs.5400/- in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (MHA) Govt. of India.
On joining the organization, selected candidates will be governed by ITBPF Act. 1992 and ITBPF Rules, 1994 as amended from time to time and are liable to serve anywhere in Union of India or outside. The posts being in combatised stream of the Force, the officers selected will have to wear the rank and badges of the posts as per Govt. of India orders/instructions.
2. The candidates who will be called for interview are entitled to traveling expenses as per provisions contained in Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India, a.M. No. F.190l45/l174/E.IV(B) dated 20/0l/1976
Educational Qualification-: Degree in Civil Engineering from an Institution recognized by the Central or State Govt. Other eligibility conditions:-
Physical and medical standard:- The candidate should conform to the following physical standards:-
1:- FOR MALE
(i) Height: 165 Cms (relexable by 2 Cms in respect of Gorkhas, Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Dogras, Marathas and by 3 em in respect of Adivasis.
(ii) Chest: 81 Cms Un-expanded and 86 Cms Expanded.
(iii) Weight: 50 Kg .Eye sight:- (with or without glasses)
Distant vision: 6/6 in one eye 6/9 in the other eye Near Vision: 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.
II:- FOR FEMALE
(i) Height: 157 Cms
. (ii) Chest: Not applicable
(iii) Weight: Proprionate to height
Eye sight:- (with or without glasses). Distant vision: 6/6 in one eye 6/9 in the other eye Near Vision: 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.
Important:- The candidate should not have knock-knees,flat foot or squint in eyes and they should possess high grade colour .vision.
HOW TO APPLY
Candidates fulfilling the above conditions of eligibility may apply on white paper in the prescribed proforma . The candidate must send the following documents with application:-
(i) Certified true copy of the matriculation or equivalent certificate as proof of date of birth with mark sheets.
(ii) Certified true copy of certificates in support of educational qualification as stipulated above.
(iii) Certified true copy of the caste certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates.
(iv) Two identical photographs (recent passport size) 5 Cmsx7 Cms apprx. duly attested by a Gazetted Officer, one pasted on the application form and the other attached to the application, duly attested on the reverse.
(v) Two self addressed stamped envelop of 11.5Cms x 27.5Cms size.
