Power Grid Corporation Of India (PGCIL), a Navratna Public Sector Company under the Ministry of Power, Govt of India is engaged in power transmission business with the mandate for planning, co-ordination, supervision and control over complete inter state transmission system and operation of National and Regional Power Grids. Power Grid Corporation invites recruitment application for Engineering Trainee from bright, committed and energetic engineers to join its fold as Executive Trainee in Electrical discipline.
Eligible candidates will have to appear for the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper of GATE-2013
Pay scale: Rs.24900-50500 , The approximate CTC per annum are during training Rs 7 lakhs per annum; after training Rs 12.67 lakhs per annum
Service Bond: The selected candidates will be required to execute a service agreement bond to successfully complete the prescribed training period and thereafter serve the organization for at least three years
The amount of the bond is Rs 1,00,000/- for General/OBC (NCL) candidates and Rs 50,000/- for SC/ST/PwD candidates
Upper Age Limit: 28 years as on 31.12.2012
Qualification: Full Time AMIE/ B.E. / B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg) in Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering discipline with Minimum 65% of marks or Equivalent CGPA *
Selection Process for POWERGRID ET Recruitment:
Marks obtained in the EE paper of GATE 2013 – 85% Marks
Group Discussion – 3% Marks
Personal Interview – 12% Marks
