IBPS CWE II Clerks Interview Tips, Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has changed the pattern of recruitment for Common Written Exam (CWE) and selection procedure for candidates for Public Sector Banks in India.
Under this new norms IBPS will conduct the whole recruitment process and Candidates will be allotted the job offer from Bank as per their order of merit and preference. This makes the candidates a great confusion, WHICH BANK TO OPTED FOR ? because the candidates would not be given option to leave and choose another in same recruitment year.
Now, the candidates decision will be more curious while selecting the bank. Candidates have to look after all the option before choosing the right banks. We have tried to make the candidates work easy while selecting the option for banks. We have analyzed the various factors and compare the different bank.
We suggest candidates to go through this before opting the banks :
1. Type of Public Sector Banks
2. Work Culture and Operational Easiness
3. Pay Scale and Career Growth
1. Type of Public Sector Banks :
This is the initial part. There are around 19 Public Sector Banks in India and each of the bank have had their own brand Values. Based on the Brand values these banks are classified in to Three broad areas i.e. Brand A, Brand B, Brand C
BRAND A : Punjab National Bank, Central Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Union Bank of India, Canara Bank
BRAND B : Syndicate Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Allahabad Bank, Corporation Bank, Indian Overseas Bank
BRAND C : All Other Small Banks
There is almost certain merger in banking system by 2014, there will only be 7 Public Sector Banks in India. All other banks will merge with big guns. Choosing the Big Brand will secure the future of merging and growth in career.
2. Work Culture and Operational Easiness
Working Environment and culture is most important. Being a clerical cadre most of the time and in almost most of the bank branches you will be asked to sit at Passbook counter or cash counter. There is nothing to do with high knowledge with these silly areas. So work culture is important.
3. Pay Scale and Career Growth
This is the most important part for which all we are looking for Jobs i.e. MONEY. Pay scale of Clerical cadre are almost same with all the public Sector Banks except SBI.If pay scale are same what is the use of talking about this ?
Although the Pay scale are same for each banks but the perk and benefit are different for different banks, as like in Syndicate Bank if you get the supplement salary as rs 886 a Month it will be more than 1200 in PNB. So choose the bank which give more benefit to their employees.
Career Growth is important part. Public Sector Banks are promoting Clerical more faster than an officers. There are many Public Sector Banks who are promoting Clerks To Officers within Three Years of Service. Choosing such bank will give a wonderful boost in career.
