Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is handed over the task of conducting written exam for recruitment of Selection for Assistant Grade III (AG-III) Posts in FCI i.e. Food Corporation of India.
The selection for the various Category III post in FCI is based on the Written Examination followed by a Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) to be conducted by Staff Selection Commission.
The minimum qualification required is a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University for AG-III (Gen) exam — Post Code A and for AG-III (Depot) exam — Post Code D. Where as for AG-III (Acc) — Post Code B, the candidate should be a commerce graduate from a recognized University.
The written exam for Post Codes A, B and D will consist of two papers — Paper-I and Paper-II (200 marks each).The level of exam as per the syllabus which is provided by SSC will be of Higher Secondary or 10th level. Candidates applying for Post Code C will have to appear in Paper-I and Paper-III (also of 200 marks). Paper III will, however, be of degree or graduation level. Finally only those candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in Paper-I and Paper-II/ Paper-III will appear for the CPT.
Final selection for FCI will be on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in Paper I and II (200 and 200 marks) for Post Codes A, B and D and will be on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in Paper I and III (200 and 200 marks) for Post Code C.
Candidates will be allocated the Zone based on the Merit list.
