Answer key IES 2012 General Ability Test, Indian Engineering Services Exam i.e ES or IES conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruitment as Engineering Services (IES) officers in various cadre with disciplines like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
UPSC is conducting the exam of IES on 15th, 16th & 17th of June 2012 at various location in India. First day of exam was covered with General Ability test which was common to each of the discipline.
This test was average type with little syllabus change as compared to previous year. Average score or Cutoff for this paper will be approx 120 marks. Previous year candidates with 107 score were called for interview.
General Ability Test of IES comprises of two parts, i.e.
Part – A: General English
Part – B: General Studies.
Each Part consists of 60 Multiple Choice Questions.
