Answer Key All SET : Paper I | Paper II
Question Paper Various SET : SET A | SET B | SET C | SET D
Expected cutoff for Prelims is going to be high due to many factor like :
a. There are total of 1037 seats in UPSC this year, so number of candidates will be more
b. Pattern of question was little easier as compare to previous year
It is expected that cutoff for prelims will go higher compare to previous year. Candidates may share their expected marks so that we can provide the Expected cutoff based on sampling.
i think 200 will be a safe score. Paper II was definitely tough given the number of comprehension and the nature of the passage being asked. Some are claiming to have purportedly scored a very high marks in CSAT-II which certainly seems to be an exaggeration!
u r rigt frnd the cut off will be arnd 200-210 as predicted by vajiram-220,als-198-210,gk today-195,CL-200+
What will be cutoffs?
really want to belive that cut off will be low. its should be low than last year. dont know why people saying it was easy. so stressed
Paper I was tricky and diverse. It was not easy to give correct answer for more than 55. And chances for wrong answers was also more. So paper I cut off will be around 80. Paper II was lengthy and complex though solvable. But those who did reasoning are sure of their correct answers but those who did more passages cant be sure and can be negatives also. So Paper II also cut off will be lower than last year(since only 2 maths ). It may be around 90-100. So overall cut off may be around 170-180 or 175-185

only 5000 out of 10000 appeared in jharkhand . what is the case in other states
I think you are right bro.
actually questions were easy but questions were asked in detail. If you know 3 points of 4 then definitely you will not leave the question.
and ofcourse that 1 point may be wrong.
I think 180 to 200 will secure the seat for main exams.
1. When seats are more, cutoff goes down.
2. Paper was not easier but bit tougher in comparison to last year. Paper 1 had lots of tricky combinations of options. Papers also had many questions in RC on the pattern of combination of option. It will only further pull cut off down.
In my view, expected cut off will be almost same or little lower than last year.
hope so…
if number of seats is more then the cutoff should decrease right?
u can't say….the number of candidates will also be more…competition will tough….
