There were no change in the pattern of exam and question were asked based on previous exam patterns. There were 150 questions for various sections including essay, Precis writing and comprehension.
This time exam was of average type and it is expected that cutoff would be little higher this time.
All such candidates who appeared for the written exam for CPF may share their expected marks here and we will try to aggregate the expected cutoff marks based on the sampling method.
We request all the candidates of CPF 2011 to share their expected marks so that we can calculate the expected cutoff and You can get more time for preparation of your next level of physical and medical test.

this also a way to beat competition. Discourage the guys who are good at brawn and average at brain. They won't prepare for ac and very soon there will be no PET for scientists. Just write the exam and get joining...;-)
Anil first of all don't calculate cut off pompously..let upsc be arbiter of that....you shld have sound facts n knowledge abt a particular topic before uploading a comment...secondly i wld like to suggest u...that better start preparing for civil services n leave d post of ac for mediocre students like me ..

despite being from airforce, one is calling BSF and CRPF horrible bcoz there is confrontation with enemies, 1 has to live in harsh terrain, jungle !?this is the difference, a man of army wouldn't have said so. They should prepare for bank po, pcs, ca etc...
Frds gamut of cut off that i have mentioned above represents maximum marks...dere are chances that cut off in gk n english can reach nadir upto 75 n 60 marks respectively.....
Frds one more thing i want to mention here is that after going through last 4 years ac result... consulting many recruited asssistant commandants n aspirants i have uploaded above expected cut off.
eventually time will decide the fate..best of luck for all aspirants .....guys keep patiece for 2 more weeks....

Frds expected cut off for dis year....
Gs paper-(80-85) marks
english paper-(60-70) marks.
last year's cut off:
gk=76 marks
english=43 marks
result is anticipated in first half of may...best of luck for all rational, enthusistic n sane aspirants.

I called up upsc and they informed me that the result is expected to be declared in the last week of the may. loved your criticism about Mr: Anil and i agree with your judgment on cut off :)

cut off for cpf 2011 paper 1 120+ and paper 2 90+. result wil cme in first week of may surely. last year selected in written but disqualified in pet 800 meter by 3 sec. my score was paper 1- 132, paper2- 66, total 198.this time paper 1- 130+ and paper 2- 100+. those who thinks may get in surely start preparing for physical. they r very much particular in time limits. i m serving in air force. being from defence background i was out in pet. after medical give ur first choice cisf, ssb and itbp. rest all r horrible like bsf and crpf. best of luck.
o come on mr anil dont misguide the new candidate i am sure cutoff will not so high as you telling. and its not come in my mind why are you telling horrible to bsf and crpf ARJ KIYA HAI....MOUT SE KISKI RISTEDARI HAI AAJ HAMARI TO KAL TUMHARI BARI HAI. aur iski kya garantee hai ki aap airfoce me safe hai yaa apne ghar me safe hai yaa cisf ssb aur itbp me safe hai, jab itna hi dar hai to force kyun join karna chahte ho bank,ssc,railway do bhai.

I am not in agreement with your views on cut off and result date as both of them are unpredictable. Last not least kindly dont use this platform for declaring the cut off as they are only subjected to variation but your comments could induce anxiety among the candidates who are either under performing or are better than your level. Last not least, don't cry like a little kid who missed tasting a candy by 3 seconds. If you are from defence background i would rather suggest you to behave like a gentleman who believes in himself and not like an amateur who keeps on boasting of himself. Rest is your wisdom about the world.
yaa bros! CPF selection process is really agonizing. If written result comes in 3-4 months it doesn't give pain that much as hope of 7-8 months shatters in few seconds. Isn't it ?:)!
neither ive started running practise nor iam studyng fr next cpf....al coz of dis delay in result.....
