Staff Selection Commission is holding an All India Exam for it’s Combined Graduate Level(Tier–II) of all such candidates who got successful in Tier – I exam.
This Combined Graduate Level(Tier–II) exam was conducted in two section. Exam was conducted on two subjects i.e. Math and English.
This time the Exam for Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level was entirely different than previous year exam pattern. Previous year there was no negative marking and cutoff was about 424.

This year the syllabus of exam was little change, In English there were eight passage which was not there in previous year papers. Math paper was very tough and it is expected that cutoff would be around 50-60.
English paper cutoff will not go beyond 135. It is expected that overall cutoff for Main exams of Combined Graduate Level Tier II exam would not go beyond the 280-300.
If you have appeared in the Tier II exam of SSC and You are expecting to score around 250 To 300 Marks in main exam than start preparing for Interview.

Abhinav Singh had written that before interview (i.e after exam result)..it is finalized that about the particular post to be alloted to the candidate…and interview score can not change the post (if already preferred post is to be taken)?????
like sir If after exam one qualify for Excise and after interview he qualify for IT (in total score) too…..and his order of preference filled is IT>> Excise. Then will he can go to IT after interview???????
On thing more DEST for Tax assitant…… Will it be taken on Computer or On type writer etc????
In this test 8000 key depressions per hour….. Will a key depressions of space bar, other char( like . , : ; ? etc) considered for speed counting????

gorav, merit is prepared on the basis of the score(tier-1+tier-2+interview) and after the final cutoff you will get the post according to your preference and you will get the post which will be according to your marks as well as your preference order.

Hard to guess, at least you should expect 320-330 this year in Tier1 + tier2 (excluding stats paper), it's hard to guess what will be the requirement in stats paper this year considering the negative marking……. keep your fingers crossed….

The result of CGL Tier II will be published by 30/09/2011 as said by SSC Chief in his twitter. This time the cut off mark for General candidate will be in between 325-345. Any one who is confident of scoring within that range will be called for interview. Start preparation. Give stress on national problems like how to check inflation, terrorism, population control, Indo-china relationship etc.
