Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmedabad (MICA) Placement time started with new recruiters like Reliance Brands and HDFC Standard Life Insurance.
Institute is expecting the highest package and average salaries to go up for this year placement.
The batch of 112 students of the institute’s flagship programme Post-Graduate Programme in Communication Management & Entrepreneurship (PGPCME) got 46 offers from nine companies.
The highest package offered to the students on the first day was Rs 15.6 lakh per annum while the highest number of 11 offers was made by the leading international advertising agency Leo Burnett.
The average package offered to the students of MICA by the end of the placements last year was Rs 7.8 lakh, the average package on the Day-0 of placements stood at Rs 9.6 lakh.
The summer placements have also seen new companies like Cadburys, UTV and Murugappa Group coming to MICA for the first time.”
Some of The companies who had visited the campus previously are Procter and Gamble, Sony Entertainment, Vodafone, Star TV, Titan, Absolute Data, and others were also present on the first day of the recruitment.
