The Union Public Service Commission Written Examination for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Police Forces (CPF) viz was held on 24thOctober, 2010.
There were 753 post for various section of Police/Army i.e. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

Hi Ashish, m nt 100% sure bt as far as i got to knw the cut off frm diffrnt sources it is 251.. As some of the candidates hvng 251 claiming to b slctd.. Rest only upsc can tell u exactly.

yaar evn i came to know 4m a prsn that smone have been selected at 251….in gen category..
But i came across a person who got 251 marka & still not recommended…Don't know..what to be believed??
any idea whn would the reserve list come??& how much can d cut off fall??

i have checked my cpf marksheet. I’ve got only 34 in english. I dont believe such a low mark i could get. Last time(2009) i’d got 67 in english and 82 in gs(qualified wrtn but failed in pet. By d way this time i’ve performed better, anticipating to cross the cutoff line. Well, what according to you may be the cut off this time.thnx

man its very low….cut off for SC can go upto 60 marks last time it was 45 out of 150
u can get more den 34 also

I got overall 251 marks in cpf 2010 (not selected ).
Can anyone tell me the overall cut off for general category in this exam and chances of my selection.

bro cut off for gen category is 251,sandeep dhaka u will get into the reserve list.
frnds i hav got 84 in gs and 35 in eng..still m nt qualified for pet in cpf 2010 any body can tell me how short i was from qualified marks..
