Sainik School Entrance Exam
All India Sainik School Entrance Examination for admission to Class VI and IX standards of Sainik School Chittorgarh .
Only boys aged between 10 and 11 years for VI standard and boys aged between 13 and 14 years and studying in VIII std in a recognized school are eligible for admission to IX standard.
Minimum Qualification Marks:
The minimum qualifying marksfor General category candidates as well as children of Defence Services Personnel and Ex-servicemen will be 25% in each subject with 40% in aggregate. It is pertinent to mention that scoring minimum qualifying marks in entrance examination does not guarantee a candidate a call for interview.
The candidate will be called for interview based on their standing in the merit list as per the availability of vacancies in various categories.

Reservations
67% vacancies are reserved for boys belonging to the State in which the school is located. Out of this 15%, 7.5% and 25% seats are reserved for the candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and Service Personnel including Ex-servicemen.
The Written Entrance Test comprises questions on Mathematical Knowledge, Language Ability and Intelligence. Those who qualify the Written Test are called for Interview and Medical Examination.
