IBA has requested the Banker’s Union (UFBU) to cancel the proposed strike and offered the list of demands to be discussed along with their offering. Unfortunately, the list of offering is not having 5 Days Banking. The IBA letter also has not mentioned anything related to discussion on 5 days banking in the past.
It will be very disheartening for the ten lakhs bankers if five days banking will not be implemented.
