KVS Recruitment Whether CTET Mandatory for PRT Teachers ?

Whether CTET Mandatory for PRT Teachers in recent KVS Recruitment ? Whether CTET Compulsory for B.Ed. candidates also for applying to PRT Teacher post in KVS Recruitment ? As per notification released for KVS Recruitment 2022, the CTET is made mandatory for all the applicants.

KVS PRT Teacher Education Eligibility Criteria

Essential:
1. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
                                          Or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
                                         Or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education 

2. Qualified in the CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) conducted by the Govt. of India.

3. Proficiency to teach through Hindi & English media.

Desirable:  Knowledge of working on Computer.

Can B.Ed. appearing apply for KVS?

Yes, B. Ed and CTET both are mandatory for the KVS TGT Post.

(a) Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

(b) Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subject and in aggregate.

NOTE – CTET Mandatory for PRT Teachers is mentioned in the notification but not discussed anything about appearing candidates.
