BharatPe, an online fintech firm has laid off employees to reduce expenses in the slumping business hours. It is learnt that BharatPe has laid off 40 individuals with the generic reasons that they were “under-performers”.
The laid off employees have complaint that the organization had not paid the monthly salary for the month of March and April, and it was necessary to handover the laptops provided by the company. BharatPe informed that they had received the request from employee confirming their resignation.
BharatPe said that they are offering compensation to all the employees and stayed faithful to its commitments of examinations to representatives.
