VITEE 2020: Exam postponed, Application date extended due to COVID19

VITEE 2020 Updates – Vellore Institute of Technology, VIT conducts the Engineering Entrance exam VITEEE every year to provide admissions to candidates in the campuses of Vellore, Bhopal and Chennai. The dates for the VITEE 2020 application have been extended till indefinite period due to the unforeseen events like COVID19 spread in India.

In addition to the extension of VITEEE application dates the institute has also extended the exam. The candidates who had not applied till now can do so by following the steps shared below.

VITEEE 2020: How to apply

• The candidates can visit the official website of Vellore Institute of Technology
• Go to the link that reads Application form of VITEEE 2020
• You will be redirected to a new page of VITEEE 2020
• Candidates can fill in the application after generation of the registration ID and password
• Fill in the application form after this
• Upload the signature and photographs
• The candidates are required to submit the application fee and download the submitted application form after that for future reference

VITEEE 2020: Important Dates

The application form was released in September 2019 and the examination was to be conducted between April 13-14, 2020. The last date to apply for the exam was March 22, 2020. The dates of application form submission and the exam dates have been postponed and will be announced soon on the official website.

The institute conducts the exam every year in the month of April. This year the examination will be conducted later as COVID19 pandemic has spread across the world. In India more than 400 cases have been registered which is why the Government has issued advisory for the control mechanisms to be followed.
