Kolkata Port Trust Recruitment  – Kolkata Port Trust has published the recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Scientific Officer and Assistant Engineer (Civil) in Hydraulic Study Department.

The job would be contractual by nature for one year.Eligible candidates may apply on or before 31st October 2013.

Remuneration: Rs.26,000/- per month (Fixed)

Educational Qualifications:

Assistant Scientific Officer – Candidates must have had Post Graduate Degree in Geology/ Electronics/ Environmental Engineering/Statistics/ Physics/ Mathematics/  or any relevant subject related to Hydraulic Engineering or research OR First class degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology.

Candidates must have two years post-qualification experience on research / investigation / studies pertaining to river hydraulics and / or allied subjects with knowledge of computer application.

Assistant Engineer (Civil) – First class Civil Engineering degree or equivalent. Two years post-qualification experience on river training works ith knowledge of computer application.
