IBPS RRB was easier when compared to IBPS PO held on 17th of June. Reasoning and Aptitude were quite easy. 25 to 30 will be a reasonable score in both these sections. General awareness was also pretty easier and one who had a closely watched current affairs for the month of April, May and June would have done it well. Infact many International affairs questions were from the month of May and June. Computer awareness was like bread and butter and one who has a basic knowledge of Computers would have attended a minimum of 30 questions, additional preparation would have got them around 35 questions. English was average and around 30 will be a good score.
Paper was not time that time consuming like IBPS PO, so one could have easily attended the minimum questions required for passing in each section.
My expectation is that cut off will be relatively more as the paper was quite easier.
Reasonin n quant wr v easy cos i hav a high iq (151) left 2 in gk left 1 in comp and i did quiet wel in eng also unlike kanwar
congratzzzz i think u will get b best score
Harish u r such a sweetheart...
my xpectation
eng-30/40
comp-35/40
reasoning-28/40
numerical-25/40
current affairs-20/40
my attempts:
quant 28
reasoning 30
english 39
computer 35
gk 34.
Cant say much abt accuracy though.Quant(especially DI) was so time taking that i ended up having to leave 5 easy(it seemed) questions in reasoning.cudnt solve a single series ques(in quant) and figure series(in reasoning).am worried abt overall cutoff.ny1?
Ys it is tof bt nt so tof tht 1 can't do it
As far as the difficulty level of RRB Po paper is concerned, we can rate 6/10.
Reasoning paper was good, In English one can expect in the margin of 28-30 marks out of 40 and computer its again 28-35 marks and maths though data interpretation part and number series was bit difficult, one could have easily attempt 20 questions and General awareness : this is the section where many aspirants cud'nt have done well, If am not wrng. Despite doing well in other sections, I have just attemptd 8 questions in General awareness, so no luck this time.
IBPS RRB exam was very easy expect maths. Gk was very easy. Most questions of Computer depend upon previous. Sentence arragement of hindi was so difficult. Otherwise this was a great exam for me.
