As per Hinduline newspaper, total 1,11,997 students qualified in the CWE PO/MT... Per IBPS project head, approximately 20000 vacancies will be there to grab in next 6 months for PO... So I am hoping any one above 130 in general catagory, 120 in BC and 110 in OBC will surely get an interview call from one or more banks... Congratulations to all. Once you start getting calls, please share it over here. Nice initiative from Raj...In case of any doubt one can reach me on 08860940902.

I AM FROM GENERAL CATEGORY AND WANT TO KNOW WHAT MY CHANCES ARE FOR SELECTION OR SHOULD I PREPARE FOR THE NEXT IBPS PO EXAM TO BE HELD IN 2012.
WHAT IS THE STANDARD SCORE FOR GENERAL CATEGORY?
PLEASE DO REPLY.
MY E-MAIL ID IS ALOK9891972@GMAIL.COM
The IBPS will use Linear Conversion Method to convert the score of each candidate (after factoring with negative marks, if any) into a standardized score. Each candidate will have to cross a minimum standardized score to be eligible for participation in the recruitment process of any banks - to be eligible to get a score card. The formula for Cut Off will be as follows.
Average – ¼ standard deviation for General Category
Average – ¾ standard deviation for Reserved Category
I want to knw that when the bank notify their vacancies, is they set different cut off again for different categories.........as the scores are already calculated on the basis of category......
