India’s Upper House in parliament Rajya Sabha has published the recruitment Notification for the various position with the house. There are various category of post in various section at rajya Sabha are published.

The Rajya Sabha Secretariat conducts open competitive examination for filling up vacancies that may occur in the following posts from time to time:-

1 Legislative/Committee/Protocol/Executive Assistant
2 Research Assistant
3 Junior Library Assistant
4 Junior Parliamentary Reporter(Hindi)
5 Junior Parliamentary Interpreter(Regional Languages)
6 Junior Parliamentary Interpreter(Hindi/English)
7 Junior Parliamentary Reporter(English)
8 Stenographer
9 Junior Proof Reader
10 Translator
11 Security Assistant Grade-II
12 Junior Clerk
13 Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade)

Application Fee

For General candidates : Rs. 130/- Others : None.

Fees must be paid via SBI bank Challan ,deposited in any branch of State Bank of India in the Current Account No. 31096407809 in favour of DDO, Rajya Sabha. The payment of the fee is to be made through fee payment challan and the Secretariat copy of the fee payment challan duly receipted by the Bank with (a) Branch Name & Code Number, (b) Journal/Scroll Number, (c) Date of Deposit & amount, is to be enclosed with the application form.

Last Date for Rajya Sabha Application : 20th December, 2011 (5.00 p.m.).
