IBPS exam for Common Written exam is finally over. This exam for Recruitment in Public Sector Bank as an officer was conducted in Two session at various center in India. The rush of candidates was so much that exam was conducted in Two session.
First session was started from 9′ O clock where as the second session was started from 2:30 PM.

IBPS CWE Cutoff marks Analysis
After collecting the brief information about the Question pattern and Analyzing the candidates opinion , we have found that the question paper of Common Written Exam was unexceptional.
Being a Banker I must say that It was the toughest paper for banking Recruitment I ever seen . Level of Exam paper was much-much higher than even SBI or RBI (WE Exam) also.
Anyway the total cutoff for CWE exam will surely be very low especially in English and General Awareness. Anyone Who have scored 10-14 will clear the sectional cutoff of English. The descriptive section will have the cutoff of around 15 marks.
We have summarized the cutoff marks for each section based on the Sampling of data provided by the candidates as below, Please do note that these analysis for cutoff is purely based on assumption. This is totally the views and we can not assure about the accuracy of this view, so please check.

| Computer Knowledge | This was the most easiest section and this will boost the overall marks of candidate. Cutoff will be higher, around 35 |
| English Language | As I said earlier also, most of the candidate will be failed in this section only. Very tough. Cutoff will be as lower to 10-12 |
| Descriptive paper | This paper will depend each candidates grasp on English language, but I think cutoff for this section would no go higher than 15 marks |
This is the analysis on the Common Written Exam (CWE) for PO. What I suggest you not to depend on this analysis only because this is the first time CWE is conducted by IBPS and cutoff may vary or may go lower also. But this is the safe score to get the good scorecard.

in which out of 5 i am confident in 4 section very much but in reasoning i attempt only 27 most of them was implicit explict and decesion making question
i want to ask can cut off marks for reasoning lower further as you mention in your survey
Secondly, I dint know that those 50 questions in the English section were for just 25 marks. ( I dint see that at home and could not check it before the exams, as the papers were distributed.) Unknowingly, I attempted only 35 questions and am so happy now that I dint waste more time on them as they were of lesser marks.
God seems to be favoring me this time.
So my final attempts were
Reasoning - 25-28(90% accuracy)
QA - 25-28(90% accuracy)
GA - 45-48 (70-80% accuracy)
English - 35 (90% accuracy)
Computers - 47-49 ( 95% accuracy)
So, I think I have a chance with these marks.

Hi All,
Greetings to everyone. Just wanted to share some experience with you friends.
I had also appeared for the SBI PO that was help a couple of months back. There I was able to attempt not more than 3-5 of the GA questions (marketing and computers excluded). And I was afraid if this was gonna repeat. But this time, I could attempt almost 45-48 questions in QA as it was more on General awareness and not on current affiars. I was so happy about this.

Yes the paper was really tough...specially the English section section had question which were really new...after all mishra is right the individual bank will hv different cut off...ya bt this is defiantly that the cutt of is gone be really low...so don't worry guys be confident ....al the best
what is the cut off marks for objective english...?
In objective english each question carries 0.50mark or 1mark
According to me some part of the paper was time consuming and genuine tough
