Sainik School in Purulia
Sainik School Purulia is a residential English Medium Public School for boys imparting Public School Education with a Military bias in the state of West Bengal.
It is one of the 22 Sainik Schools in the country established under the aegis of the Ministry of Defence for the benefit of the comparatively weaker sections of the society and for the removal of regional imbalances in the officers cadres of Defence services of India.
Motto:
The school motto is “CAN DO IT” signifying an indomitable spirit, determined to strive, to achieve, and not to yield.
Aim:
AIM of the school is to prepare the boys academically, physically and mentally for entry into the National Defence Academy and coveted walks of life.
Character, team spirit, dedication to purpose, a patriotic outlook, courage of conviction, dignity of labour, high sense of discipline, loyalty, integrity, initiative, spirit-de-corps and a desire to serve the country with zeal and efficiency are the qualities ought to be promoted by training in the Sainik School.

Subject-suffering from loose motion and dehydration.
Sir,
With utmost respect I beg to state that I Ashit Roll no.-4495 of class VI ‘B’ was absent for 3 days. I was absent because I was suffering from loose motion and dehydration. It was happened, when I came after playing I had drunk a bottle of coke and after that I started vomiting. Then I had taken to the hospital and was admitted there for five days.
So please leave my absence and allow me to join the classes from 6/4/2012.
