IBPS Common Written Exam (CWE) For Clerks in Banks, Apply Online

After Common Written Exam for Probationary Officers, It’s time for CWE for Clercial cader. IBPS has invited application from Indian citizen for recruitment of Clerks in 19 Nationalized Banks.

A Common Written Examination (CWE) will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) on 27-11-2011 as a pre-requisite for selection of personnel for Clerical cadre posts in the Public Sector Banks mentioned below.

This system of Common Examination for recruitment of Clerks has been approved by each of the 19 participating Public Sector Banks and the Managing Committee of the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) with the consent of the Government of India.

IBPS, an autonomous body, has been authorised by IBA and has received a mandate from the 19 Public Sector Banks listed below to conduct the Common Written Examination. The CWE for Clerical Cadre posts will be conducted twice a year by IBPS.

Start date for IBPS Clerical CWE Online Registration: 25.08.2011

Payment of IBPS CWE Clerical Application Fees: 24.08.2011 to 23.09.2011

Last date for IBPS Clerical Online Registration: 24.09.2011

Last date for Editing Application Details: 26.09.2011

IBPS Clerical CWE Call letters can be downloaded after: 11.11.2011

  2. I AM A VISUALLY CHALLENGED CANDIDATE ASPIRING TO BECOME A BANK CLERK..ARE THERE ANY REAL 100% BLIND QUALIFIED RECENTLY. PARTIALLY BLIND OF COURSE ALWAYS HAVE AN EDGE, AND BANKS PREFER THEM TO FULLY BLIND.BUT WHAT SHOULD WE DO THEN?

  3. i m obc student in rajasthan. and in punjab sikh are not consider in obc. and i want to apply in punjab thn should i apply in obc or general. if i apply in obc thn it will effect my rank in punjab or not.

    • One thing you must remember that CWE exam is conducted by IBPS at All India level , so all the reservations or relaxation are valid according to central level, If you fall under OBC category than you will have to present the certificate for such relaxation, doesn’t matter which state you are applying for……….
